मैंने देर से लिखनाशुरू किया लेकिन इतना काम कर लिया है‍कि अब देरी से लिखने का मलालनहीं सालता। बेशक चालीस के करीब कहानियां लिखी होंगी अब तक मेरे पांचकहानी संग्रह हैं - अधूरी तस्वीर (1992), छूटे हुए घर – (2002), खो जाते हैं घर 2012, मर्द नहीं रोते 2012 और छोटे नवाब बड़े नवाब 2013।

• मेरे दो ही उपन्यास हैं- हादसों के बीच (1998) और देस बिराना (2002) दो (दो संस्केरण)।

• इनके अलावा मेरे दो व्यंग्य संग्रह हैं - ज़रासंभल के चलो 2002 और दाढ़ी में तिनका 2011में छपा था।

• मेरा एक कहानी संग्रह गुजराती में भी है - साचासर नामे जो 1996 में छपा था।

• मूल लेखन के अलावा मैंने गुजराती और अंग्रेज़ी से बहुत अनुवाद किये हैं और इस काम में मुझे संतोष भी बहुत मिला है।

• अंग्रेज़ी से जो अनुवाद किये, वे हैं - जॉर्जआर्वेल का उपन्यास एनिमल फार्म, गैब्रियल गार्सिया मार्खेज केउपन्यास Chronicle of a death foretold का अनुवाद, चार्ली चैप्लिनकी आत्म कथाका अनुवाद जो 2006 में आधार प्रकाशन से छपा। चार्ल्स डार्विन की आत्म कथा का अनुवाद जो NCERT से 2009 में छपा। मिलेना (जीवनी) का अनुवाद 2004 में छपा। ऐन फ्रैंक की डायरी का अनुवाद 2002 में छपा। इसके कुछ अंश NCERT द्वारा प्रकाशित 12वीं कक्षा की किताब वितान में कई बरसों से पढ़ाये जा रहे हैं। इनके अलावा कई विश्व प्रसिद्ध कहानियों के अनुवादप्रकाशित होते रहे।

• गुजराती से अनुवादों में व्यंग्यकार विनोद भटकी तीन पुस्तकें, गुजराती के महान शिक्षा शास्त्रीअ गिजू भाई बधेकाकी दो पुस्तकें दिवा स्वप्न और मां बाप सेका तथा दो सौ बालकहानियां अनुवाद के जरिये हिंदी पाठकों तक पहुंचीं। दिनकर जोशी केउपन्यास प्रकाशनो पडछायो का अनुवाद किया। ये उपन्‍यास गांधी जी केबड़े बेटे हरिलाल के जीवन पर आधारित है। इसके अलावा महात्मा गांधी की आत्म कथा सत्य के मेरे प्रयोग का अनुवाद राजकमल प्रकाशन के अनुरोध पर किया। पेपर बैक और हार्डबाउंड दोनों में उपलब्ध।

• मैंने लगभग 9 पुस्तमकों का संपादन किया है। साहित्य। के अलावा 6 पुस्तकों का संपादन अपनी नौकरी के सिलसिले में किया। बंबई 1, बंबई पर आधारित कहानियों का संग्रह है, कथा लंदन यू. के. में लिखी जा रही हिन्दी कहानियों का संग्रह है और कथा दशक कथा यू.के. से सम्मानित 10 रचनाकारों की कहानियों का संग्रह है।

• रिज़र्व बैंक के लिए जिन 6 पुस्तिकों का सम्पादन किया, वे हैं 1. लघु वित्तन 2. रिटेल बैंकिंग 3. एसएमई 4. कृषि व्याुपार एवं निर्यात, 5. नेतृत्वथ और 6. ग्राहक सेवा

• मेरे लिखे शब्दों को जो सम्मान मिले, वे हैं गुजरात साहित्य अकादमी का सम्मान और महाराष्ट्र अकादमी का सम्मान। इनके अलावा 2009 में मुंबई की संस्थाद आशीर्वाद की और से सारस्वत सम्मान।

• रेडियो पर प्रसारण लगभग 30 बरस से अनवरत। कई कहानियों का रेडियो पर प्रसारण

• दूरदर्शन के कई केन्द्रों पर साक्षात्कार आदि का प्रसारण। इनके अलावा छोटे नवाब और बड़े नवाब तथा डर कहानियों का दूरदर्शन पर फिल्म के रूप में प्रदर्शन

• ऑडियो के रूप में उपन्यांस देस बिराना का नेशनल इंस्टीडट्यूट फार ब्लाइंड द्वारा दृष्टिहीनों के लिए रिकार्डिंग तथा प्रसारण और यही उपन्यास देस बिराना लंदन की एक संस्था को एशियन कम्यूतनिटी आर्ट्स द्वारा ऑडियो सीडी के रूप में जारी।

• कई शहरों में गोष्ठियों और मित्र मंडलियों में कहानी पाठ

 An entrepreneur, journalist, poetess, owner/publishing director of Roobaru Duniya, monthly Hindi magazine, MPHIN/2012/45819 (RNI Govt. of India).

Ankita, an upcoming writer, is an engineer who pursued M.Tech (CSE) from one of the premier universities of India, Banasthali Vidyapith. She worked as a Technical Research Associate in C-DAC Pune and as an Application Developer Intern in Wipro Infotech Ltd., Gurgaon. Alongside her technical career, she has been creatively involved in writing. In the year 2012, she left the job as an Asst. Professor from Bansal Institute of Engineering, Bhopal, to follow her passion and started her journey as a dedicated writer. Ankita wrote the lyrics of India's Biggest Flash Mob song "Mumbai 143, Hey Mumbai .. I Love You Mumbai"- released in March 2012 which won an award in the Limca Book of National Records in 2013. She has written 4 songs for an upcoming movie directed by Mr. Kamal Raghani. One of her stories, "Prayashchit", achieved 7th position in International Story Writing Competition organized by World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius. Her poems are regularly published in “Patrika”, a renowned newspaper of Jabalpur division. Her articles and poems are published in many newspapers and magazines. She has also contributed in online magazines like Abhivyakti and kavitapustak.com.

Now you are going to read about me, named as Ankita, a highly ambitious girl, who wants to fly in the sky with her writing skills. I just turned 9907 days older on the first day of year 2012, born on May 5, 1987 in Gwalior and started my journey from a small town named Essagarh in Madhya Pradesh. Born in the heartland of India, I was always fascinated by poetry and its power to convey human emotions in a simple but heartwarming manner. My father is a Government bank employee, had frequent transfers and as a result, my schooling involved several schools. But I always managed to make friends wherever I go; I love to know more about different people and their cultures and to get interacted with people or different culture.

I am writing poems and stories since my childhood but initially, I used to keep them by me only but as my friends suggested that everybody should get to read my writings, then I started my facebook page Ankita Jain, My passion My Poems

It was my friends who supported me and many readers who appreciated me on the page for my writings and there inspiring comments always boosted my confidence. Then I started to spread my poems on public platforms at several places, also got them published in reputed newspapers, magazines and websites.

I always believed that poetry is the voice of soul and that I express what is in every heart through my poetry. In my own words,

चलती है कलम मेरी तेरे जज़्बात बयां करने
लिखती है वो आखर ये, जो तेरे अरमां को ज़ुबां देदे
तू मुसाफिर है जो ठहरेगा न पल भर ही
चलते चलते ही मेरे शब्दों को बस अपनी एक नज़र देदे

Apart from poetry, my hobbies are sketching, photography and playing violin. I have participated in several sport competitions at university and state level and won many awards including State level Badminton Tournament (Third) 2007, Inter university Badminton Tournament (First) 2009, Interuniversity Kho-Kho Tournament (Second) 2008 & 2009. I have also completed a one year certified course in Kathak. But above all, Poetry always remains Ankita’s first love. My all the poems and stories are legally registered in FWA for copyrights.

I never feel ashamed in asking those things which i don't know or don't understand coz i believe it's good to leave your shame just for once by asking for the right thing rather than becoming a laughing stock again and again by using the wrong thing ....... :D :D
