Admission Prodedure The admissions in polytechnic courses are done on the basis of combined entrance test for Diploma Engineering conducted by Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. However, management and leftover are filled by the management on the basis of merit as per guidelines laid down by the BTE. The minimum eligibility for admission is 10th passed. The admissions in B.Tech., B.Arch. and M.B.A. are done on the basis of UPSEE conducted by GBTU/MTU (formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow). However, 15% seat are filled by the management on the basis of merit as per guidelines laid down by the MTU. The minimum eligibility for admission is 12th passed.
Lateral Entry to 2nd Yr. For admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech., B.Arch., the candidate must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering/Arch. course; securing; minimum 60% marks in aggregate or three years B.Sc. Degree with mathematics as one subject; securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For admission to second year (lateral entry) of Diploma Engg., the candidate must have passed two years ITI course OR 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with vocational subjects.
